Agar agar (vegetable gelatin) is a colorless algae with a neutral taste, and is used to make gelatin in desserts (canteen) or to refrigerate vegetables.
It is in the form of flakes that are added to hot water or juice and cooked for 5 minutes. One teaspoon of agar flakes is sufficient for 600 ml of water or juice.
