

Lichtkornroggen® is a rye variety that was specially developed for biodynamic farming.
In the organic grain growing garden, traditional cross-breeding methods are used instead of genetic engineering. Open pollination in the open field ensures the genetic diversity of rye.
Light grain rye is characterized by light beige colored grains and the particularly mild taste. With light grain rye you can bake an exceptionally light, mild and light rye bread. Light grain rye flour can be used like ordinary rye flour.
Most of Bauckhof Demeter grain comes from bio dynamic farmers from northern Germany. Together with the farms, Bauckhof plays an active role in maintaining and promoting soil fertility and environmental protection.
